Agatti is one of the Lakshadweep islands open to tourism. Visitors, however, are allowed to the Island under certain restrictions. They are required to obtain Entry Permit from the Lakshadweep Administration for entering or visiting the island. Entry Permit is issued based on the visitor having a confirmed place to stay.
The virtual gateway to the Lakshadweep islands is Agatti Island, It is truly one of the most beautiful lagoons in Lakshadweep. One and only airport of Lakshdweep islands is built on Agatti island. By Air: Air India flight operating from Bangalore via Cochin (Kerala) 6 days a week except Sunday
By Sea: From Cochin ship connection as per the published schedule Lakshadweep Administration is operating ships to Agatti but due to monsoon all ships are operating only for the purpose of local islanders connectivity, tourist ship schedule will get open from 15th October onwards.
